Sensational Ifan has just released a new single titled “Hungry Man” which is an acronym of the theme "a world full of hungry people". This prolific songwriter and RnB singer is born and brought up in port-Harcourt. He has been in the industry almost all his life having released his first single titled “My Girl” ft General Pype, with the music video that has enjoyed much airplay both on radio and TV stations till date.

His immense ability to speak for the downtrodden made him write and Co-produce, the song “Hungry Man” which is mainly produced by award winning producer SamKlef. His new single will lift hope just as the lyrics depicted if we Nigerians can truly stop being hungry for unnecessary recognition, gaining power to oppress the poor.

IFAN Feat General Pype - My Girl (video)

Ifeanyi Michael a.k.a IFAN is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist who hails from Anambra state, in the South-Eastern area of Nigeria. His aptitude for being an entertainer began at an early age, when he shuffled between the different facets of entertainment – Acting, Dancing, before finally settling on music. He began singing professionally in 1999. He performed Live at night clubs, at various events first of which was Opa Williams’ Comedy Challenge.

His influences range from Michael Jackson to R. Kelly and Luther Vandross; who through their music have inspired and encouraged the drop of greatness that is IFAN. In the course of his career, he has worked with mainstream acts like Mo'cheddah, Kel, Mike Anyasodo, Vector, General Pype, Keffi and the award winning Producer, Sossick.

Presently, he is at work on his debut album (still untitled); first of which is the sleeper hit My Girl on which he featured Storm Records artiste, General Pype. The video was directed by Mr. Ak.One and the track was produced by Phat E.

IFAN - My Girl featuring General Pype

Ifan born Ifeanyi Michael has collaborated with Storm Record artiste General Pype for his debut single titled My Girl. The sure hit record is produced by Phat E. Ifan whose government name is Ifeanyi Michael is an indigene of Anambra state but he was born in Port Harcourt. He is an RnB pop singer, songwriter, instrumentalist who started out as an actor while he was young. As an actor, he has featured in movies alongside renowned acts like Nonso Diobi, Patience Ozorkwo (popularly referred to as Mama G), Comic act John Okafor best known as Mr Ibu, just to mention a few.

The artist is making as much mark as a singer as he has worked with artistes like Mo'Cheddah, Kefee, Vector, Rooftop MCs, Mike Anyasodo, Kel and several other up coming artistes. Ifan was in the news weeks after 'My girl' was released over a misquote by a journalist over the similarity in the chordal progression of the record with Ice Prince's Oleku. Ifan had met Jesse Jagz and Ice Prince before 'Oleku' was recorded, playing his record which was newly recorded at their meet - before hit song 'Oleku' from Ice Prince was made, stating this to a journalist and expressing his surprise and excitement in the similarity in the chordal progression of his record 'my girl' with Ice Prince's Oleku, he was misquoted as saying Ice Prince stole his 'progression'. The artiste swiftly addressed the report, shooting down the alleged claim.

The debut single 'My girl' is a mid tempo love record which an impressive synergy between the two artistes on the record - Ifan and Gen. Pype.
