BREAKING NEWS: NOLLYWOOD FILM MAKER AMAKA IGWE DIES

Renowned writer, actress and director of Nigeria’s Nollywood movies Amaka Igwe has died after an asthma attack in Enugu, Nigeria according to several sources. Mrs. Igwe reportedly died on the set on a soap opera she was directing in Enugu state after she suffered an asthma attack.

She was  pronounced dead in the early hours of Tuesday, April 29, 2014 She produced the popular comedy series, ‘Fuji House of Commotion’ and ‘Checkmate’. Amaka Igwe is survived by her husband, Charles Igwe and children. She was aged 60.
