Lord Vino aka Lord V, signed to Sway Entertainment (@Sway_Ent), is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter & composer. His music transitions between Hip-Hop & New school Naija Pop. Born and raised in J Town (Jos, Nigeria), he was influenced by the hip-hop culture that the city is known for today. Later exposure to other parts of the country, and world music helped to define and diversify his sound.
Formerly known as Vino, he earned the title “Lord” in his university days from fellow rappers, who he engaged in lyrical battles with.
His major influences include: Jay-Z, Eldee, Nas, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Mode 9 and Jos’ M.I.

KAHLI ABDU PRESENTS: BAND OF REBELS [MIXTAPE]

 

As a prelude to a brief hiatus while he works on a number of upcoming projects, Kahli Abdu is set to release a new mixtape, "Band Of Rebels"

As Kahli's final mixtape before he embarks on his "LEGEND EP", a joint "Bandits EP" follow up project with legendary producer Kid Konnect and his official full length album, more details of which would be provided shortly.

 

The Band Of Rebels" project is a lush selection of carefully curated songs featuring Lindsey, Poe, X.O Senavoe, Geniuz, Young Black and Ruby, with production from Kid Konnect, Maytricks, Charlie X, KruttyRanks, Jessie Jags, M.I., and Kahli Abdu himself made up of a number of tracks from the recently concluded rebel friday season 2 and never before heard gems that he had worked on before and during the season.

Kid Konnect a.k.a Dick Fitzwell (his alter ego) is back again with another hit track. This time he takes it "a little" more serious. I decided to use "a little" because I was surprised that he could spit some bars. I still see him as this very silly individual and I'm not sure if I should expect something more serious from him because of his playful character. But who knows? He is full of surprises. he is a great producer and I think he will make it as a rapper.
