MOELOGO & UK RAP HEAVYWEIGHT GIGGS COLLABORATE ON "THE BADDEST REMIX" PRODUCED BY BAYOZ MUZIK

British Nigerian Afro-Pop/Afrobeats rising star MOELOGO has linked up with UK Rap heavyweight and BET Award winner GIGGS for the massive new remix of his 2014 single “The Baddest” produced by the prolific Bayoz Muzik, for our listening pleasure.

Already playlisted on BBC 1Xtra and supported by the likes of DJ EduDJ Abrantee and British radio tastemakers such as Trevor Nelson andCharlie Sloth, “The Baddest Remix” sees both Moelogo and Giggs in boisterous mood over the infectious Bayoz Muzik instrumental, inspired by the groove of the late Fela Kuti.

Asking listeners, fans and critics alike “who is the baddest”, Moelogo and Giggs throw down the gauntlet for all comers this year and boldly proclaim their exceptional talents, with Moelogo even comparing himself to the likes of Chris Brown and Trey Songz, while Giggs delivers a trademark braggadocios rap verse, demanding haters to “sit back down, why you jumping up?”.

In addition to the BBC 1Xtra-playlisted “The Baddest Remix” featuring Giggs garnering heaving UK mainstream radio support, the single is also proving to be a favourite among dance revellers with burgeoning UK dance trioD3 Dancers offering an exciting choreography dance video to “The Baddest” with over 4000 views already.

British Nigerian AfroPop and UK Afrobeats starMOELOGO picks up the momentum in 2014 right where he left off in 2013 with the release of this massive new tune titled “Whatta Bum Bum”, produced by burgeoning UK DJ/ProducerVinnie Vii.

Inspired by 90’s Ragga classics and fused in together with Moelogo’s Nigerian Pop swagger, precision urban flow and catchy Afrobeats melodies, the up-tempo “Whatta Bum Bum” tells the story of a sexy and flirtatious woman propositioning Moelogo and by the wayMoelogo responds over the captivating drums and synth-led musical backdrop, he certainly doesn’t hold back.
