Brown launched her collection themed 'A Few Of My Favourite Things' at Temple Muse on 18th December 2010. Guests were treated to signature TM Cupcakes & Pink Sangria which set the mood for an enjoyable afternoon all around.
The collection represents a vibrant assortment of chic pieces; from elegant dresses crafted in luxurious lace, silks and silk-chiffons, paired with rich, vivid African prints to sophisticated blazers in sleek, bold shapes and with striking African print accents. A flirty, fun femininity radiates from a number of styles in this collection: fresh, frilly, rosette dresses, polka dot covered one-lapel jackets, and one-lapel wrap dresses in bright, fluorescent shades.
Many of Christie Brown’s trendy pieces are once again adorned by an array of signature, multicoloured, hand-sewn African print buttons, which add a unique twist to the collection’s more classic designs. Christie Brown’s latest signature accessories also feature: gorgeous, hand-embellished bib necklaces, introduced in brand new, editions – the ultra exclusive,
limited edition, feather embellished version being the most daring and stunningly unique.
