D'Crow - HipHop's Poster Boy

Adeda Omohwo Martin who hails from Ughelli, Delta state was born in the mid '80s to family of 4 and had his primary and secondary school education in Nigeria, he then proceeded to attend Oxbridge tutorial college for his A-levels and then to the prestigious University of Lagos where he graduated in 2007 as a Dentist.

D'Crow has always been a fan of music; throughout his childhood his musical influences were Majek Fashek, Mike Okri and later on Dr. Dre, Nas, Emimen, Jadakiss, to mention a few. But don't get it twisted, he listens to all genres including r'n'b, classical rock & Garage.

His foray into music started during his A-levels when he useed to write poems and eventually they turned into rap lines because of the strong influence of rap in his life. It was just customary for him to create his own niche in the hiphop world.

D'Crow has transformed from a mere fan the hiphop genre to a stakeholder; just to him as HIPHOP's POSTER BOY. His short and long term plans for the music industry are: to create beautiful music and create a platform which would be a springboard for the emerging talents themselves through their music.

His debut titled "The Truth" gives an insight into unique lyrical ability of D'Crow and guest appearances include OJB Jezreel, C-Mion, Mo'Cheddah, Rheymophoebus. Producers on the album are ID Cabasa, K-Solo, OJB Jezreel and Blazon.

The album which dropped in March 2010 and is available in stores nationwide is a masterclass blend of hiphop urban music. Due to numerous requests the album "The Truth" is available on iTunes for download.

According to his spokesman, Nasir Onucheyo, the fresh debutante whose lead single ‘My Birthday’ is enjoying impressive rotation on Nigerian Tv and radio stations, ‘is taking his promotion a step further and will play a few gigs in Dublin, London, New York and New Jersey before returning to the country.’

D’Crow’s 12-track album provides an insight into his lyrical ability but also features acts like C-mion, Timi, OJB Jezreel and Mo Cheddar on different tracks with production imprints of industry giants like ID Cabassa, K-Solo, OJB Jezreel and Blazon. His lead single features K-Solo.

The highly anticipated release of D’Crow’s debut album titled “The Truth” drops on March 15, 2010. The first single off the album, “My Birthday featuring K Solo and Max Boi “has topped many charts across the nation.

D’Crow had his primary education in Lagos state, secondary education in Federal government college Odogbolu where he finished in 2000, he then proceeded to attend Oxbridge tutorial college for his A-levels, and, then to the prestigious University of Lagos where he graduated in 2007 as a DENTIST. D'Crow is in the building


Born Martin Adeda, D'crow is an Aquarius, Dentist and a die hard music fan who listens to all genres.
Hobbies include reading books (not necessarily academic), swimming, volleyball, playing squash, listening to music and just generally chilling.

His foray into music started during his A-levels when he used to write poems and even though he claims to just like writing poems, it was actually for the ladies and from which he graduated to writing songs and decided to create his own niche in hip-hop. Widely accepted by people from all works of life and socio-economic status, D'crow has proceeded to let everyone know that GOOD things can come out of Nigeria
