KATE HENSAW, UTI, TIWA SAVAGE OTHERS WIN FAB AWARDS

It was a fantastic night as celebrities and fashionistas from all over Africa converged at Landmark Village Victoria Island Lagos on Sunday December 9, for a Black Carpet Dinnerevent that saw celebs in creative wears troop out in their hundreds to enjoy a fabulous night of music and dance, fashion and style, and a lot to eat and drink.

The FAB fashion show, showcasing exclusive designs from VLISCO’S latest fabric collection; Gallery Of Poems and music performance made the evening colorful as models paraded the stylish designs made from VLISCO’S latest Fabric.

The event turned out to be a massive gathering of notable personalities from different works of life that have a lot in common, especially a passion for Fashion.

Entertainers such as WizKid, w4, Praiz, Eldee, Ushebebe, Yaw, Zaina and Yemi Alade delivered electrifying performances to the delight of guests; while hosts Jumai Shaba and Ebuka Obi Uchendu guided guests through the night.

“It’s a honor to be able to bring all these great people together under one roof, to celebrate an art

that is important to all of us. I’m excited about how everything has played out; and particularly happy about the FAB awards to 26 deserving recipients” the event’s executive producer

Big winners at the FAB awards include Kate Henshaw, Tiwa Savage, Uti, Toolz, Lynxxx, Gideon Okeke amongst others.
FAB Magazine, Nigeria’s leading international fashion journal. The all colour, all gloss fashion and lifestyle publication teamed up VLISCO, Beat FM, Trace TV, Barcardi and Nokia to bring fashion lovers an unprecedented night of fun and festivity. Guests told journalists the event is one of the best fashion ‘gigs’ ever held in Lagos. It was also a night when some people were given awards for their achievement in the style industry.

Guests included Waje, Omawumi, Adaora Oleh, Audu Maikori, Tiwa Savage, WizKid, Damilola Adegbite, Sasha P, Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi, Uti Nwachukwu and W4. Others are Sam Onyemelukwe, Adebayo Oke Lawal, Lamide Akintobi, Yaw, Ayo Animashaun,Mai Atafo, Noble Igwe, Eku Edewor, Toolz, Tosyn Bucknor ,Funke Bucknor and a host of others

WIZKID HEADLINES FAB NIGHT OUT

…….As organizers stage fashion show of the year!

Lagos|Nigeria Organizers of the annual FAB night out have announced an exciting list of artistes who will be thrilling guests and delivering series of remarkable performances at the upcoming event.

WizKid, Praiz, Sound Sultan, Brymo, Yemi Alade and Zaina are billed to perform at the second edition of FAB night out alongside. Comedians Steve Onu (Yaw) and Ushbebe.

The all color, all gloss international fashion and lifestyle publication has also teamed up with Vlisco, Zapphire, Pattaya and Bacardi to bring fashion lovers an unprecedented night of fun and festivity.

Celebrities from the world of fashion, music and entertainment, drawn from all over Africa and
several fashion cities in the world, will head to Lagos to be part of a star-studded black-carpet event holding at The Landmark Village, Victoria Island on Sunday December 11.

Familusi Akin Babajide, publisher of the magazine tells us that aside WizKid, Sound Sultan, Brymo, Praiz and Yemi Alade who freed up their tight schedules to thrill guests at FAB Night Out, two reputable style icons Ebuka Obi Uchendu and Jumai Shaba have been chosen to anchor this year’s show.

“We are doing all we can to make sure that this show is one you won’t forget in a hurry” he says. “This will be the fashion show of the year” he promises.

The main dish of the night, however, is the FAB fashion show, showcasing exclusive designs from emerging and established fashion icons like Phunk Afrique by Funke Ogunde, Vonne by Yvonne Nwosu, Orange culture by Adebayo Oke Lawal and Mimi Lee London by Mimi Hassan.

He continues “That is not all; we will be giving out plaques to recognize the most fabulous lifestyle brands in the country”. Already, 130 names were announced at the nominee’s party held on October 23, 2011.

FAB Night out debuted in 2010 as a platform to recognize and celebrate talents with the best offering every calendar year with a total of twenty six award plaques to reward deserving talents. This year’s event will hold at Landmark Village Oniru Estate Victoria Island from 7PM.

The event is produced by FAB Magazine, and supported by Vlisco, Trace TV, Beat FM, Pattaya Oriental, Zapphaire Events and Barcadi.
