VIDEO: BURNA BOY FALLS OFF THE STAGE WHILE PERFORMING AT THE 2012 HEADIES

There were lots of highlights at the 2012 edition of The Headies held at the Expo hall of the Eko Hotels and Suits last Saturday but one that has got everyone talking is centered around act Burna Boy who fell off the stage as he was about to perform.

The Dancehall act who was selected as one of the two rookie acts to grace the stage and perform successfully turned what might have been a mishap into a fantastic performance.

So what happened? Burna Boy had just finished telling the guests how excited he was to be on stage (one wonders why he used a lot of curse words though) when he teased with ‘Who likes to party?‘. Obviously not looking at the spaced skirting at the edge of the stage, Burna tumbled off the stage with such a might fall! But within seconds he was back up like nothing happened and then began performing.

The guests got on their feet and cheered as Burna performed his infectious ‘Like to party‘ single while Dammy Krane joined him later on. Dammy Krane also performed his ‘My dear‘ single with support from Burna Boy too.

Nigeria's biggest annual entertainment awards, The Headies 2012 held on Saturday, October 20 at the Eko Hotel and Suites. Hosted by M.I and Omawumi, the event was graced by top shots in the Telecommunications, Banking, Marketing and entertainment industry.

Psquare, Wizkid and Vector were the biggest winners of the night as Wizkid emerged "Revelation of the Year".

There were also performances by Burna Boy, DammyKrane, Chidinma, Bez, Praiz, brymo, Davido, Timi Dakolo and the EME crew.
