All is now set and ready for the premier of Laide Bakare’s multimillion naira movie “JEJERE” meaning TUMOUR. The blockbuster movie “JEJERE” starring 9ice, Emeka Ike, Fathia Balogun, Toyin Adegbola, Segun Ogungbe, Akin Lewis and Laide Bakare amongst other superstars has been described as the first African Super Hero movie and will be premièred at the event tagged AN EVENING WITH LAIDE BAKARE, under The Chairperson of Her Excellency, The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope Adefulire.

The 3 in 1 event will also witness the super launching of Laide Bakare’s Record Label “Simline Records” and its artiste "T Code" and will be rounded up with a concert to be headlined by the King of Fuji music, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, proverbial lyrist, 9ICE, JJC, Chuddy K and Simline Records signee “T Code”. The event is billed to hold on Sunday the 13^th of January, 2013 at the prestigious Orchid Hotels & Conference Centre, Lekki Lagos and will be hosted by the funny duo of Yaw and Funke Akindele (Jenifa).

An Evening with Laide Bakare is put together by Simline International Limited, a company owned by the delectable Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare with media support from Muziqglobe World and the blogs.

Mr Capable who has always been known as the ladies man did not disappoint the mostly feminine guests at ‘Gaga for Fashion’; a fashion show and runway display event for charity. His fascinating performance of songs like ‘you wan thief my kele’, capable’ and others got the crowd unstoppable as they kept asking for more. The show held at the prestigious Shell Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos saw Celebrities and A’ list actresses like Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Tonto Dikeh, Laide Bakare and some star models strut the runway.

‘Gaga for Fashion’ is put together by a fast rising Nigerian clothing line; AGLAIA, established and managed by UK based 17 year old Mariam Afolabi and 22 year old Funke Afolabi in partnership with Celebrity Int’l Magazine to raise fund for the Ajoke Aishat Foundation (AAF) a charitable project set in motion to cater for motherless children across Nigeria.

The two anchors for the night Missi and Oreka were really at their best and from their attires the show itself needs no introduction as a fashion show. The show then kicked off properly with the set of collections on the runway called “Aunty Give me cake”, “Bimpe in wonderland”, “crazy casuals”, evening collections which were really wonderful collections and other artistes who performed on the night were Lax and Godwon to complete a wonderful evening of music and fashion.

The duo of Mariam and Funke are poised to influence the Nigerian fashion industry by redefining the guidelines to looking cute and polished. ‘Gaga for Fashion’ promises to be a departure from the norm in the Nigerian fashion scene and bring to the fore an evolution in trendy clothes.
