Born on the 28th day of September 1989 in Abuja Nigeria, Lawrence Tsewagbe Okoronkwo started his life in a small council flat in Abuja Nigeria. He hails from eastern Nigeria though with Ghanaian ancestry and his mother Efik, He went to Primary and secondary schools in Abuja Nigeria and was the delight of friends, schoolmates and teachers. He completed secondary education at the age of 14 and got into University of Benin at the age of 15 in 2005 to study International Studies & Diplomacy.
It was in University freshman year that he began to seek to break into the modeling industry. He was scouted by top model Fome Emede who trained him in modeling Hut silhouette. He went on his first Photo shoot same year and was the delight of the photographers who never believed it was his first time. He then went on to contest at his first major in Coca-cola face of Eva, even though he didn’t win, it served for him as a major milestone in this modeling career. Lawrence attended series of model castings around the country and is doing pretty well for himself.
He has appeared in shoots for MTN adverts Selections and he was also on the West African Idols qualifying series. He signed a contract with Queen Amina Models in Lagos but then things didn’t go as planned due to the fact that he had to concentrate on his Education which was then at its climax but more was to come. This Model Personality also was in planning committee for Uniben’s Skomit Miss Uniben while in school and was also known for his stylish, Smiley and outgoing though sometimes shy self.
In 2008 he featured in Suave Fashion and did the Magazine shoot with Personalities like Dayo Ephraim of Hip TV and Kel. Lawrence also was accepted amongst thousands of applicants in 2007/2008 into QBNW (quick book Now Worldwide) to work as an International Model. After graduation same 2008 at age 19 with a B.A in International Studies & Diplomacy the doors to become a Top model was thrown open to him. He did a Catalogue for Marietta makeovers in Port novo and has since become a sensation in the industry with dazzling pictures and has his Photos with Leonardo Imagery in America.
He is well known on Hush City Fashion, Mahogany models Directory, Models Mayhem and Supermodel scout. Lawrence loves music also and has a great dress sense. He entered for TOP MODEL OF COLOUR U.K 2009 and also African Runway and Mr Tourism of the World. 
He is currently signed to ROUGE MODELS Inc under STUDIO 24 in Abuja and has perfected his runway skills after successfully screening to hit the runway for LC THREADS in Abuja.
About growing up, he had what he calls a sweet childhood. “I had all that a child could long for and was brought up by a sweet parent who taught me to Fear God and to distinguish right from wrong and also brothers, sisters and cousins were there too, we always had a full house.” As the youngest child, I grew up with my mother and refer to her as My Best Friend. She has always been the right push for me in the direction of success. “She is my Friend, Sister, Adviser, Support and Best of all she is MY MOTHER” says Lawrence. About further Modelling plans, all he says is that “ROUGE MODELS is in charge, Jehovah has been Wonderful and well, watch out for me on the runways this Season!”
