VIDEO: MODENINE, OLAMIDE, PHYNO, YUNG L JOIN ICE PRINCE TO LIGHT UP FOZ WITH GIMME DAT


Veteran rapper, Modenine, Olamide, Phyno and Yung L joined Ice Prince to deliver a show stopping performance of the track Gimme Dat at the Fire Of Zamani concert. Ice Prince started with a solo performance and even invited Dele Momodu’s son, Enikorewafunmi to join him on stage when he noticed the young boy singing excitedly.

They were later joined on stage by Phyno who delivered some sick flows in Igbo, Yung L made a grand entrance with his reggae style rap while Olamide added a touch of fuji to the performance.

Ice Prince introduced Modenine as an inspiration to Nigerian rappers and he finished the song with some freestyle rap.

Enikorewafunmi, who is quite popular on his father’s Instagram page, had his 15 minutes of fame performing with Nigerian superstars.

Tee A, Reminisce, TillaMan and Others Say No To Domestic Violence

There are so many fractions of life that need support and a voice. Of late a lot of violent stories have been released and it gives others a glimpse into the rampant lives of abuse in our society especially between couples who supposedly love each other or parents with children.

LWTZE (Lady with the zoom effect) is an initiative of Soundcity TV’s lead ambassador and VJ, Olayinka ‘Yeancah’ Adamu. LWTZE Concept is spearheading several projecting include ‘The War Against Domestic Violence’.

This is following on the heels of the successful forum which took place on the 6th of May. The Walk is to take place on the 13th of October, 2012

It would be a day where celebrities, fans, well wishing Nigerians would give a few hours to walk against domestic violence, the walk kicks off at Deuces on Adetokunbo Ademola by 10AM.

Celebrities who have endorsed and would be supporting the walk are Kween, Kenny Ogungbe, Kennis all star, Labi, Durella, Ali Baba, Tunde Ednut, Dpizle, Rayce, Harrysong, Chididnma, IllBliss, GT Tha guitarman, Peter Okoye, Modenine, MI, 2face, Timaya, Ice prince, 9ice, Steel, amongst others

LWTZE's Walk against domestic violence is supported by Lucozade Boost, Spartan Stratregy, Inspiration FM, Cool FM, Wazobia FM, Soundcity, ONTV, Rhythm FM, Channels TV, Radio Continental, TV Continental, GBTH Company and YOU.

Babatunde Olusegun is known by all as Modenine.

The Veteran Nigerian rapper and hip hop artiste today drops the freestyle to the song - 3 KINGS from Rick Ross’ album “GOD FORGIVES, I DON’T”.
The song originally featured Jay Z and Dr. Dre but Modenine and Dj Black [From Ghana] put a twist to it, and came out with an Unofficial Remix/ Dj-Blend.

Nigerian BET Cypher (Male & Female)


The BET Hip Hop Awards are an annual awards show, airing on BET, showcasing hip hop performers, producers and music video directors. The awards ceremony began in 2006, was held on November 12, 2006 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, was first aired November 15 and was hosted by comedian Katt Williams.

For the year 2011, BET took the Cypher to Africa and featured the rave of the moment in the world of Nigerian Hip Hop.
