Yesi lends a helping hand at Oyiza Orphanage.

Nigeria's hip-hop recording artist Yesi launched PROJECT I.B. CITY, with a vision of organizing people to positively impact the ancient city of Ibadan, Nigeria through philanthropy, service and new media. The pilot project kicked off with a collaborative venture with non-profit organization, Merry Hearts Foundation (MHF), to raise money for Oyiza Orphanage, based in Ibadan. The
fundraising event was held on Dec 27, 2010 at the Grand Serene Hotel, Iyaganku, Ibadan.

In an unscripted moment during the fundraising event, the children of Oyiza got to showcase their talents to the audience and delighted the crowd with their dance exhibition. The fundraising event raised $7,300 approx for Oyiza. For more information visit http://projectibcity.org/
