Catching up with her royal hotness - Uche Odoh

About seven months ago, we featured Uche Odoh in an exclusive interview (click here to read interview) in which she revealed her love for the camera . She was recently featured in the Yori Yori Remix video by Bracket ft. Tuface Idibia. She's the one with the mohawk or should we say fro-hawk. Homegal was rocking that hair-do!!

Olamild Ent had a quick chat with the beautiful Uche; here's what she had to say.

OE: We see you're off to greater things, you're getting featured in videos - you go girl! Was that your 1st time appearing in a video?

Uche: Nah it wasn't my 1st time. This is actually my 7th video,I have worked with hman, lambo and overdose to mention a few.

OE: Interesting! So how did it feel to work with award winning artists - bracket & tuface?

Uche: It was an exciting experience. Bracket and 2face are super-cool peeps and I am happy I was a part of that project.

OE: Were you scared on the okada? (laughs) tu face is not a pro rider, is he?

Uche: I was so scared but 2face being the kind of person he is calmed me down (laughs hard)

OE: The hair do! You know we have to talk about it. It's a good look on ya and it stood out in the video.

Uche: Well it's been my signature look since the beginning of the year but I took it down a little lately.

OE: Any new project/what's uche odoh up to?

Uche: I've been busy serving our country (NYSC) and running my entertainment company; I recently featured in a new sitcom so u guyz watch out 4 that.

Bracket ft. 2face - Yori Yori Remix (video)

Brand new video from the stables of Capital Dreams Pictures. Presenting to you Ape planet boys - BRACKET ft. 2 Face Idibia in Yori Yori Remix. The Video was shot in Northern Cross River - Obudu Cattle Ranch to be precise.

Yori Yori was the hit song for 2009; it seems this remix would be the hit song for 2010.

What do you think of the video?

Worthy of Note - Uche Odoh

- Tell us about yourself.
My name is Uche Odoh and I hail from Enugu State.

- How long have you been modeling?
I've been modeling since 2008.

- What or whom inspired you to go into the modeling field?
I've always loved being in front of the camera, so when i grew older it was natural that I become a model.

Were there any oppositions from family or friends when you took up modeling?
Not really. My brothers were cool with it, mumsy was a bit hesitant but it wasn't long before she came around. I promised her I'd graduate from college with good grades.

- You graduated just of recent...congratulations!! What was your major and how well did you like it?
Thank you. Yeah, I majored in soil science which I really don't think I would practice because I'm more inclined to the media and entertainment.

- Speaking of something entertaining, we heard the NMAA 2009 [Nigerian Model Achievers Award] was a huge success and you were the photogenic female model of the year. How did it feel to take home the award?
It felt wonderful winning it given that I was just about a year and a few months in the industry that time.

- So you were still sort of new in the modeling field when you won the award.. how impressive! Would you say winning the award has helped you in any way or what?
Sort of new? Yes but i did quite a number of notable jobs within that
period. Winning the award shows that people appreciate and recognize what you are doing.

What's the most challenging part of modeling for you?
Combining modeling with studies because I traveled often but I thank God that part is over now.

What's the easiest part of it?

Being able to enjoy what I am doing.

- Uche I must say it is impossible to interview you without mentioning H Man. Are you comfortable talking about this or should we move on to the next question?
It's my private life so let's leave it private. We are no longer together though.

Okay...moving on! Earlier you mentioned your interest in TV productions. Tell us more about that. Do you plan on being a TV show host or what?
Probably in the near future, I'll own a show but right now, working as an independent producer/presenter works fine. In my entertainment company (3089 entertainment), we are currently working with 2 upcoming acts Jae mawuli and Sym 19.

- As a beautiful young female in the limelight, it is natural to gain immense admiration from young male (fans). Have you had any remarkable or crazy encounter with any fan?
It's natural for a beautiful girl to have fans so I would say I'm already used to that, nothing beyond the ordinary; just the occasional stalking, anonymous calls and text messages.

- Aside from what we all know you to do, what do you enjoy doing?
I'm interested in TV production (as much as i love being in front of the camera, behind the camera holds interest for me). I already run an entertainment company where we offer services like artist and event management.

- Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
In the next 5yrs, I would definitely be a force to reckon with both in the modeling industry and the entertainment industry.

- Thank you for your time Uche. We wish you the best in all that you intend to do and thank you readers for joining us today. Here are some fabulous shots - UCHE ODOH.
