Festival of Love Lives Up To Expectation

The show, Festival of Love might have come and gone but those present at the classy romantic evening show in Abuja will not forget the remarkable evening in a hurry. It was a lavish and extra-ordinary love party.

What makes the show exceptionally classy is the quality crowd that constitutes the guests. Different couples in Abuja stepped out to the show with the best of their attires to give themselves a valentine treat. The host of the show, Julius Agwu alongside other entertainers that trilled at the event which include MI, Darey, Waje, Iyanya, CD John and the elegant stallion, Onyeka Onwenu gave a good account of themselves. The guests couldn’t have asked for more.

Waje was in her best form that night. She and her band literarily brought down the roof. Her sonorous voice coupled with her stage craft with energy sapping performance from her band made her the favourite of all. She performed her hit song, For A Minute and other few songs from her on-coming album. The high point of her performance was when she performed Turn Your Lights Down Low by Bob Marley.The song induced nostalgia and the whole hall sang along with her.she got a standing ovation and different round of applause after her performance.

Iyanya also didn’t fall short of expectations with his exhilarating performance. Darey titillated his fans with his latest singles and songs from his on-coming album meant for release soon. The elegant stallion, Onyeka Onwenu also induced nostalgia when she performed her popular hit, One Love with other songs from her on-coming album. MI rounded off the night with his enlivening performance with a standing ovation in support of his craft all through his performance. It is important to note that fast rising comedian, CD John also brought down the house with his rib-cracking jokes.
