MTV and Zain have released the coveted tickets for the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain - the biggest and brightest award show Africa has ever seen!
Just over 6 weeks remain until the MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain (MAMA) – an addictive blend of hot sounds, cool artists and international star power – come to Kenya for the first time. The lofty ceilings of the Moi Indoor Arena at the Kasarani International Sports Stadium, Nairobi will soon shimmy to the sounds of Africa’s best contemporary musicians as the MAMAs make music history on Saturday 10 October 2009.
Featuring artists from across the continent including Lira, Samini, M.I. and Wahu, the 2009 Awards is a thrilling live music spectacle which pays tribute to the vibrancy and talent of the African contemporary music scene in 2008/9. The show is being hosted by hip hop icon Wyclef Jean, who will also perform at the awards.
Tickets for the MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain will retail at 1500 KSH (standing) and 2000 KSH (seated).
