Born Olusegun Emmanuel Olowokere and raised in the Bronx, NY.
With both parents hailing from Nigeria, he was exposed to a totally different lifestyle. Trying to balance their culture with the streets of NY, he created himself. He created a strong minded, determined, goal oriented individual. Being the youngest of four kids wasn't too easy for him. Try getting 3rd generation hand-me-downs, in the 8th grade. And how dare he question it, when he should just be grateful that he had clothes on his back. What kept him focused was his determination to succeed. He knew he'd reach the top one day, but how?! Sure, he got his share of A's in school, but he was never the 'book type'. Most things just came to him as common sense!
Sometimes he'd even lay down for hours staring at the cracks in the ceiling, hoping that God would care to care. Not knowing how to voice himself anymore, he turned to pen and paper...and the rest is history. It evolved from poetry into rap. After years of writing and rapping, he decided to be on the other side of the mixing board. He slowly got into Engineering...and that evolved into Production. He has had many influences from Nigerian music, Pop, Reggae, Rock, Jazz and Old School Hip-Hop. That's where his unique sound comes from!
Hear his most recent single Nigerian Girls ft. Sauce Kid.
This one's for the ladies o.
Even though Sauce Kid is featured on this song, I only heard a line from him.
