The name SLK, was coined from letters of her real name Susan Edelokun Ayo -Amu,
She is from Edo State. She grew up and schooled in Lagos, had her degree at FUTA where she obtained a B.sc in Microbiology.
Her influences are Tracy Chapman, Brandy, Boyz II men, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. SLK broke unto the mainstream in 2006 when she dropped her 1st single ‘Oju-ife lo’ which
received massive airplay and rose to become a one -time Hit song for the week on Rhythm 93.7 FM.
She's made appearances on several shows like Rhythm un-plugged(Lagos), MTV base advanced warning, shows calabar, Abuja, lagos, etcetera She featured on UK producer Tolu Okeowo’s ‘ The perfect progression’ album recently released in the UK and she recently released ‘Darlin’ a video from her soon to be released album
SLK is a banker yet has no problem combining it with music.
She is currently putting finishing touches to her album
which will be released soon.

When i heard her adlibs on kel's boy meets girl, i had to find out who she was. Truely amazing vocals. with the right team, she will go places.
