Nigerian R&B artist and musician Wray returns with a brand new single for 2012 titled “Be Your Man” and a befitting music video directed by Quincy J. Isah and Brian Would as its visual compliment.
Laced with Wray’s trademark
lush and inviting vocals as well as an excellent live musical milieu
made up of a head-bopping blend of live drums, percussions, bass guitar
and keyboard arrangements brought together by Teebeeo on production, “Be Your Man” is a brilliant return to form for Wray - the consummate artist and performer who brought us previous singles such as “Naija Salsa” and the 2kriss-featured “Night Shift”.
Shot on location in London, United Kingdom, the music video for Wray’s “Be
Your Man” is a well-crafted black and white tableau that captures Wray
in his elements not only as a complete live performer as he leads his
mammoth 8-piece band in a live rendition of “Be Your Man” but also as a
charming leading man as he serenades his leading lady with his beautiful
vocals and witty charm.
