SHE, THE POWER WOMAN - A CAMPAIGN BY CLAN

CLAN, a premium ready to wear brand under the conglomerate that heralds Deola, House of Deola is spearheading a campaign for women tagged ‘SHE, The Power Woman Campaign.’ The campaign is an attempt to reveal what drives and inspires these powerful women to go above and beyond in their respective fields. It examines 11 women in the economy who have made a difference in their various industries. The industries range from legal, food and confectionary to public relations, finance, culture and the Arts, home making, human capital development, and creative, retail lifestyle.

These success driven power women include:

Tosin Durotoye: Founder of the Bloom Africa is a town planner turned technology strategist who established the first female-focused tech accelerator program in Nigeria. Her industry is Technology.


Rewa Udoji: Founder of female-owned hedge fund, Cranstoun, is a celebrated artist whose recent exhibition INU NWUNYE, Bride Price is showing at the Jonathan Ferrara Gallery in New Orleans. 


Reni Folawiyo: Owner of fashion luxury store, ALARA, is committed to promoting African luxury and lifestyle through the empowerment of local artisans. She is currently listed on the BoF500. Her industry is Creative, retail and lifestyle.


Detoun Ogwo: Co-founder of AGDC, is a development and Human Resources practitioner who sits on the board of several organisations including the Skill Development Practise. Her industry is Human Capital Development.


Temi Awogboro: Investment professional, has decades of experience in finance and is a World Economic Forum Shaper with the Lagos Hub and Alumni Ambassador of the London Hub. Her industry is Finance.


Fran Asemota: Mumpreneur uses her experience in home-making to commercialise and curate lasting homely pleasures. Her industry is Homemaking.


Alero Adollo: Head of Private Banking at FCMB has experience in Consumer, Commercial, Retail and Electronic banking. Her industry is Finance.


Tokini Peterside: Founder of ART X was named one of the Quartz Africa Innovators, a list of the continent’s Top 30 pioneers. Her industry is Culture and the Arts. 


Bidemi Zakariyau: CEO of LSF|PR received a certificate of excellence by the SABRE Awards in 2018 and she is also listed by Forbes Africa as one of the game-changers in business on the prestigious 30 under 30 list in 2018. Her industry is Public Relations.


Tayo Bolodeoku: Founder of Hans and Rene is a trained pastry chef, Nigeria’s first ‘made in Nigeria’ gelataria. Her industry is Food and Confectionary.


Dr. Myma A. Belo-Osagie: Senior Partner in law firm of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, focuses on advising international corporates establishing businesses in Nigeria. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her industry is Legal.
