Namata: Treasure in You

Namata is a talented and prolific song-writer, and singer. He has a natural and creative talent, amongst which song-writing and making music stand out. He was inspired in the beginning by Bodajon, a Pop music genius, and then started developing his song-writing talent at the age of 16. He also got some influences from Air supply, La Bouch, R.Kelly, KC & Jojo, Elton John, also some pieces of Macko Jacko. Namata gets inspiration for his song-writing & music from his immediate surrounding and experiences. He thinks song-writers should just "let their feeling, style, kick, vibe, energy and inspiration flow like a river” while in the process of creating a song. Namata's style is new and different; his songs sound original, unique, catchy and commercial. He has a new style, kick, attitude, fine stage presence and outburst. His fan-base is growing with every show, and potential fans can't wait for the release of his songs.

Although his music is very new and original, his music style still echoes within the marketable or commercial music genres in the music industry today. In Namata's own words: "we need new music, new styles, new vibes, new blend, new scene and new entertainment." Most artists today sound almost the same with very little variety to entertain their audience or music consumers – that is why we need a new music - we need a new wave in music Namata is also a dancer-choreographer.
