Just a few weeks ago, MyAsho was launched by Ms. Shobanjo, daughter of Advertising Magnate, Mr. Biodun Shobanjo. Following her father's footsteps, Ms. Shobanjo proves she is got what it takes to be an entrepreneur just like daddy. She definitely isnt just another Daddy's girl as her website which allows african designers sell their designs (clothing, shoes, bags, purses) speaks of clean cut professionalism with designs from the East, West, and South coast of Africa. It is synonimous with American shopbop.com or Macy's.
Put simply, http://myasho.com/ is the place to shop if you are a funky, trendy, know what's happening kind of fashionista!
Apart from MyAsho.com, there is also http://www.styleme-up.com/ run by Dumebi Agbakoba, another mid 20s year old Nigerian with a passion for fashion. Like My Asho, Styleme-up creates a market place for young and upcoming designers to deliver their products. Styleme-up website very lively colors make it a haven for every girl or young girl at heart. 
More kudos to these enterprising young ladies for creating opportunities for africans.
