On Oscar Night, IJE was notified by Newport Beach Film Festival that it has been officially 
selected as well as 3 other film festivals in this very night. That makes IJE's 16th Film Festival.
About a month or so ago, JEJE of OE was granted an exclusive session with Chineze Anyaene - producer of IJE. She shares the inspiration and challenges behind the film, she also stated that efforts were been made to get the movie to American theaters. The queens of Nollywood (Omotola & Genevieve) as we all know starred in this movie. In a very brief session with OE, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde shares her own thoughts on the upcoming film.
OE: I saw IJE (the journey) movie trailer. Your performance was nothing short of amazing and I cannot wait for the release.
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde: Thanks hon.
OE: Can you tell us a little about your character in the movie?
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde: - I acted as Anya an african who's being accused of killing her American husband and two others in Los Angeles.
OE: How do you feel about the role?
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde: Wonderful!
OE: How would you say this movie differs from the ones you've featured in in the past?
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde: Better camera , professional settings and different scenery.
