A native of Utagba-uno,Kwale,Delta State,Ashionye Michelle Ugboh is a well known singer/songwriter, actress and radio/tv presenter in Nigeria. Ashionye is undoubtedly Nigeria’s first iconic female celebrity. Equally at home as a singer, actress or presenter, she is loved by male and adored by female fans nationwide. Always the show stopper, she turns heads on red carpets everywhere and leaves the audience screaming for more at her live concert performances.
Passionate about ‘positive female empowerment’, Ashionye works tirelessly to better the lot of Nigerian women from all walks of life and social backgrounds, in a most fundamental way…… leading by example. Ashionye initiated the ‘Girl Power’ music movement which aims to inspire and empower young girls and women in Nigeria and the world over.
