Born Babalola Falemi in Lagos State, Nigeria. Sauce KiD completed high school education in Nigeria after which he moved to the United States. Here, he cultivated the habit of rhyming although it did not show forth until February 2005 when he agreed to start up an independent recording label "Q Beats Entertainment" with Tunji "T Billions" Balogun Jr. In december 2005, Sauce KiD headed out to Nigeria with a video for then hit" Omoge wa jo" which featured legendary Afro Pop singer "Mike Okri".
This video and song gained him recognition within the African music industry when he was nominated at the Channel O Music video awards in South Africa. Sauce KiD flew out to South Africa to attend the award show. Although he didn't win, due to the fact that there was not enough work to show forth, sauce KiD still shined at the award show, made endless contacts and began to push a serious movement. Since then, Sauce KiD has become a household name in Nigeria. After the release of "Moneylong: The Mixtape Best of both worlds" there was a change to rap music.
The instant hit song "Yebariba Samboribobo" ( a spin off Remy Ma- conceited, produced by Scott Storch) turned into a national anthem and then a street slang which is now commonly used amongst Nigerians. Sauce KiD is the African Ambassador of Rap Music.
OLuwasaucekidbaba now residing in the motherland 9ja recently dropped a single titled Monkey Banana in which he featured Ghetto P & Pype. The song has drove fans wild in the UK. It's a club hit - guaranteed.
