The Ajayi Brothers

To students of the University of Ilorin (UI) , the name Ajayi brothers will definitely ring a bell. This duo often mistaken as twins, are immensely in love with music, though they studied political science and history, they went straight chasing their pivot passion, music.

They started singing at the tender ages of 12 and 10 as choristers in their church.

Noting:"We got our inspiration from the choir,'because our Dad happened to be the choir director."

Adding:"we went to all rehearsals with him then,from their we developed the love for music and joined the junior choir,and later graduated to to the senior, the same way Toni Braxton, Usher Raymond and Beyonce Knowles did''.

Biggest P and Emmy J(their artiste names),have Hip-pop,Soul and R&B as their music genre.saying it's purely from inspiration. Though they got their childhood musical influences from artistes like: Niyi Adedokun, Ojo Ade, Kolinton Ayinla, Don Williams,Micheal Bolton etc,they still have their basic music mentors in Brain Mcknight, Wyclef Jean& King sunny Ade.

They are the hosts of the annual music show tagged"music festival",which has been rated as one of the best music show in Ilorin and Kwara state generally. Presently, they are in the studio working on their debut album ,which already has hit tracks like miojamo[a massive radio hit], felle dance featuring Nigeria hip hop crooners The Rooftop mcs, Bosagbo featuring 2pat,etc all songs produced by Nigeria's top Producer, ID cabasa, but already they have a new HIT SINGLE ''LITTLE MAMA''FEATURING NIGERIA NEW HIPHOP REVELATION, 9ICE and it is enjoying massive air play from all radio stations in the country and beyond.

Word has it that the Ajayi brothers are currently signed to alapomeji records.
