Voting for the MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain is now underway and runs from the 26th of August until 5th of October, 2009. Below is a summary of the various ways to vote for your favourite artists online, via SMS and on mobisite.
ONLINE
You can go online to www.mama.mtvbase.com and click on MAMAs 2009 in the right hand menu. This gives you a list of the key voting categories; click on each one in turn and you will be able to view video content of each nominee and to vote online. You can vote as many times as you like.
The website also gives details of how to vote via SMS and SMS tariffs per country.
MOBILE
To vote by mobile, you can send a text to one of the following short codes
