Seven years ago, Patrick Soul never considered singing until an episode he had when out of the blue, when his then Music Pastor asked him to sing "We fall Down" in front of the church audience. Of course, he was very nervous, especially since he never sang in his life. However, he was surprised on how good he sounded and how much fun he had singing. Members of the church felt the same way. However, Patrick Soul didn't think much about it as he focused all his energy on his studies and his part time job.
In the spring of 2004, he graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelors Degree in business economics. After his graduation, Patrick Soul continues to focus all his energy into his profession. As a licensed banker, his goal was to work a few years and then go back to school for his MBA. During this period, he was hired by Accenture as a consultant. His dreams are beginning to come to pass. It was during the period that Patrick Soul was directed by God to go the studio and begin recording songs. "I was a little nervous but knew God will bless me with all I needed, my job was to go forward", said Patrick Soul. The very first song written by Patrick Soul, called "Strength to Move On", describes the struggles and barriers that almost stopped him in his tracks. "So many distractions came, at one point I started giving up but I had to pray to God for the strength to keep going on." Patrick Soul has now gladly accepted his purpose in life, which is to bring glory and adoration to the name of God.
