Originally from Morocco, Soumia Bahri was born August 27, 1977 at St. Mande near Paris. She began singing as a chorister in a rap group and participated in various musical springboard. After a brilliant student communications and an MA in modern literature, Soumia decided to devote herself entirely to her eternal passion: music.
Her audience discovers with her first full-time power time (duet with Talina) which appears on the compilation RUBIZOUK, produced and directed by Ronald Rubinel. This title is a huge success and propels Soumia on the one of the largest stage in Paris: Le Zenith (she participates in TROPICAL HIT MACHINE I and II which includes the finest artists of the moment and made the first part of the concert with Extra Musica artists like Kaysha and T Cham).
2001, confirms her talent, she performed Life, one of the lead track of compilation ZOUK RN'B 3, the third volume of the history of a cultural revolution: zouk Rn'B. Soumia to work in association with Kaysha on this title he has done. Thus began a collaboration that is proving successful since a year later, she fulfilled her dream, the artist completed her first solo album.
2002 Still in Love out in trays, Soumia becomes the "new face" of SECTION ZOUK.Her album is entirely produced by Kaysha, accompanied her beautiful voice: Perle Lama, Lynns, Abégé, Elisio Herman Fleret, Jacky Rapon, Shydeeh and Kaysha.
