Motara - the praiseDiva

Motara is a young and passionate praisediva who loves God and music very much. Born into a family of four, Oluwatoyin Omotara is the third.

She comes from a family where everyone is a music-lover. Her entry into music was during her Junior Secondary School days when she actually wrote her first song. She discovered her music abilities and had since nurtured it (and the nurturing process is still in progress. She joined the choir in her third year in the university and was also a member of the Ex-Gratia, i.e. NCCF, Zamfara State choir. She’s a graduate of Computer Science from the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko and presently works as an Engineer with a Telco in Nigeria .

She’s a songwriter who draws her inspiration from her personal experiences, other people’s testimonies, and generally, what goes on around her. Her songs reflect hope and trust in God and His abilities. Her forthcoming Album features other gospel artiste such as Mike Abdul of Midnight crew and Mike Aremu. If asked to describe herself in one sentence, she’d say…."I love God, music and life."

Motara's currently promoting two singles off of her upcoming album. Here's one of them and it's titled RARA. Rara is a yoruba term and when translated to english means "never" or "no." ...He is not a man that he should lie RARA (never!)
