Though still in his 20s Echo has pedigree of long involvement as a support act in the music scene. He has 
performed in such shows as the album launch of Chichi of Africa at the Collesium, Ikeja, Lagos (1999), in Africando Nite Cotonou, The Republic of Benin (2003), Laffeme Nite Club: Easter Rave (2006), Lakers Bar: Valplus, Lagos (2010) among other outings. The former member of the World Evangelism Bible Church (WEBIC) choir describes himself as a ‘star in the making’. His words: “I am on my way to being the next major discovery in the Nigerian music industry.”
Echo was formerly the lead vocalist of the Early Men music group which comprised such acts as Dagrin, 2dot – both his peers in the Ojokoro neighbourhood. He disclosed that the single is to test the market ahead of his soon-to-be-released album. According to him he is currently in studio working on the full album as “work is on going on the full compilation which will be out very soon.”
