For the 1st time in history, Nigerian Celebrities & youths stormed the streets of Lagos to campaign and inform the society about the increase in the scourge of Rape, as one of the solutions to bring abrupt end to RAPE and demand for proper punishments on perpetrators. The rally commenced on Saturday April 16 of 2010 and was coordinated by Esther Ijewere, one whom we featured in an exclusive interview sometimes back. The walk started at the Archbishop vining memorial ground G.r.a and ended at the Ministry Of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Secretariat, Alausa – Ikeja.
