MBGN (Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria) 2010 was held on the 22nd of May at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos. In what seemed to be the battle of the fiercest 30 women, a winner emerged. Fiona Amuzie Afora was crowned MBGN World 2010 (Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2010) and will represent Nigeria in the 60th Miss World pageant in Vietnam this fall. Over 120 nations will participate in the pageant.
MBGN 2010 pageant’s first and second runners-up were Odaloni Ngozi from Niger, and Charity Chinenye from Ekiti, respectively. Odalonu Ngozi was crowned MBGN UNIVERSE 2010 and will represent Nigeria at MISS UNIVERSE 2010 competing against Miss USA, Rima Fakih.
Chinenye Charity was crowned MBGN 2010 TOURISM and will represent Nigeria at MISS TOURISM QUEEN INTERNATIONAL 2010 that takes place this September in Guangzhou, China.

dats because Yoruba and Hausa girls arent into Pageantry as much. This is not new...its been like dat for years. Most beauty pageants in Naija are village girls usually from the EAst

the fat is that, the are still local models have no stand internationaly.. as for the igbo girl the are full time market salers that why the show off to much.
