Julius Agwu Returns With Laff 4 Christ Sake Basketmouth, Gordons, KSB, Others for Laff 4 Christ Sake Laff 4 Christ Sake Back With a Bang

The popular show which started in 1994 but rested after its sixth edition in 2009 will take place at the Muson Center on October 23. Anointed comic acts to participate in the big comedy show are Basketmouth, Bovi, Gordons, Buchi, Dan D’Humorous, Senator and Funny Bone while the music stars penciled down for the show are KSB, Frank Edwards, Eben, Onos and Tim Godfrey. DJ Gosporella will be on the wheels of steel.

According to Julius Agwu, the show will go down in history as one of the best comedy shows ever organized for the Christian brothers and sisters. “Laff 4 Christ Sake is no doubt a popular comedy brand in the Christendom. The show couldn’t hold last year because it coincided with the London edition of Crack Ya Ribs.

From the line up of the comedians and artistes for this year’s edition, one wouldn’t need a seer to tell him or her that the show will be out of this world. We are doing everything possible to make the show the most successful Laff 4 For Christ Sake ever because this will mark the seventh edition. As a matter of fact, there are some surprises I don’t want to let out now until the day of the show”.
The last edition of the gospel comedy show held on Sunday August 16th, 2009 at the Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos and it featured performances from Midnight Crew, Atorise, Mike Aremu, Ali Baba, Gordons, Koffi, Owen Gee and many others.

Julius Agwu is a known name when it comes to humour business in Nigeria. The success of his recently concluded Crack Ya Ribs show in London still dominates major discourse in the entertainment industry. The comedian is not resting on his oars as he is getting ready for the seventh edition of Laff 4 For Christ Sake, an evening of gospel rhythms and jokes.
