De GoldFinger is a Nigerian singer, rapper and song writer. First he started singing in a church choir and participated in many famous choir singing competitions as a solo singer in eastern part of Nigeria in the mid and late 90’s while he was just 10years old and he still kept on following his passion and as well the foot step of his past generations and his fore fathers as great singers during there own time.
He was born as Chibugo Nmeri Charles Ezeude on the day 10th December 1986 in the family of Reverend Charles Nwadozie and Mrs Chito Ezeude in a small town called Achina in Anambra state, Nigeria . The family that devoted there life in serving the God in heaven.
Although he loves playing football while growing up as a kid but he never throw away his passion and humor for music because singing from his childhood gave him something to talk about by having a great passion for music and also writing songs/lyrics is a great passion for him. What encourage him most is growing up listen to the world famous stars The fugees the likes of Wyclef Jean, Lauren Hills and Praz , Bennie man together with the cool gangster rappers like Snoop doggy dog, Nate Dog and the famous rap legend Tupac Amaru Shakur “ 2pac”. The amazing thing is that these artistes have some good speech to make not just singing only and that’s what entice him most in them.
As the time goes by he became more and more involved in music while listening to his hero and he cannot see himself doing anything else with the same passion he have in music so he kept moving on his musical life.
Later as the years goes by before he moved to Europe De Gold Finger became the young artiste to talk about in his neighborhood Abakpa – Nike Enugu, Enugu State , Nigeria were he grew up while he was developing his skills and musical steps. He became a well known young artiste in Enugu were he made several big concerts with some Nigerian top artistes while he was still young.
It says “ to be a man is not a day job” this always keep him focused so as well he knew from day one that there are many tasks ahead of him but what wins the race is determination so he kept focused up till now he has been based in Poland in European continent . He believes in keeping his head up no matter the circumstances although he have already came across many terrible situation in his life while in Europe but still his head is up and focused although the past experience only gave him more strength and experience about life in general and also to write and sing about.
All his songs are based on true life stories concerning his life and others life as well because without them he cannot live so everybody needs each other to live, his songs are also based on people’s welfare, nature and fun/clubbing life. He thought of bringing all these together in a very good suitable way “style of singing/music”. Bringing Afro beats ,hip hop to life and into the 21st century with breathless enthusiasm as well as good dose of humor.
He is Ambitious and in his case is to be a successful artiste/musician and as well to be the biggest living African artist in the world.
He is a kind of artist that can hold his own anytime, he is a natural , charismatic , energetic and infectious performer that can hold his audience to ransom for as long as he want because nobody gets tired of listening to him although he have already started showing that to the cities of Poland were he is been known famous as De Gold Finger in hip hop section of nightlife style in Warsaw the capital city of Poland and also across Poland for hip hop and afro beat loving fans across the country.
