Not only is she a beautiful singer, she's a woman with a good heart. She is working on a 
foundation for underprivileged children and also putting together a documentary on challenges facing the Nigerian woman.
"I’ve always felt life, in general, for the average Nigerian/African woman is harder than it ought to be. Maybe it’s the world at large…. but growing up, having that sort of mindset, I said to myself, ok, I want women the world over, Not just in Nigeria and Africa, to know that Yes it is hard, but you can survive in your immediate environment, if you see other people that have faced these challenges and have been able to rise above them.
For example, even though you’re putting in all your best, you find it hard to get a promotion just because you’re a woman or you’re seen not to be as strong as your male counterparts. I want to talk to women that have been in these kind of positions and been have been strong and have at the end of the day broken through and gotten whatever they wanted." - Goldie
